AN OLD JAPANESE POET
An old Japanese poet
leaning on his walking stick
walks away from the mountain.
He walks slowly, does
not look around to look at the mountain.
The mountain is green and snow-capped.
The poet wears green, has white hair.
The mountain after centuries is still young.
