Stirring : A Literary Collection

Erika Lanier

Erica Lanier

Erika hails originally from Long Island, New York (but she asks you not to hold that against her). She was lucky enough to have spent her college years in the back woods of upstate New York, where she learned how to drink with the boys, fall in love with english professors who spoke in British accents, and above all, the importance of poetry to her everyday life. She's still not sure how she ended up lucky enough to work with Liz Rosenberg and Ruth Stone while working on her MA, but she's eternally grateful to them both!

Immediately after graduation, she packed up her two cats, loaded everyone into the car, and moved to Boston to be with her high school crush. She now works as a Young Women's Coordinator for a city teen center. When she's not pretending to be a mother to teen girls (or the cats!), she's usually redesigning her website, snazzykat.com (shameless plug!), trying to write some new poetry, or hunting down the most perfectly yummy raspberry margarita.
