Peter has been writing poetry for a few years and is about to complete his first manuscript. Since September 11, he's only been able to articulate one poem, but he has just finished his first play, "Eulogy." After graduating from Stanford with a Bachelor's degree in English and Poetry Writing this past June, he decided to pursue a long-desired acting career and moved to the DC area, where he could live off familial good will. Peter acts in and around Washington under the stage name “Peter Cassidy"--his real last name was taken by another actor in Equity, and "Cassidy" is just another family name. He recently finished playing Agrippa in the Washington Shakespeare Company's production of "Antony & Cleopatra" and is currently in rehearsals for American Century Theater's upcoming production of "Picnic," in which Peter is playing Hal Carter, the drifter.
