Adam Deutsch was born on Long Island, New York. He began writing poetry while a student at Nassau Community College, and then moved to San Diego to live and eat burritos. Eventually he bounced around the space between New York and California. He received his B.A. (2002) and M.A.(2005) from Hofstra University. His work has also been published in The Curbside Review, The English Record as well as other journals.
