Ruth Foley is from Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband and two retired racing greyhounds and teaches English at Wheaton College. Her work appears in numerous web and print journals, including Adroit, Sou’wester, and Valparaiso Poetry Review. Her poems can also be found in several anthologies, including Best Indie Lit New England, and have been nominated for Best of the Net, Best New Poets, and the Pushcart prizes. She is the author of the chapbooks Dear Turquoise, Creature Feature, and Sink and Drift. Her first full-length collection, Abandon, is forthcoming from Brick Road.
