As many of you know, Sundress’ residency program nurtures and empowers writers underrepresented in literary publishing. “Amazing,” “life-changing,” and “productive” are some of the words used to describe their time at Firefly Farms.
In these current times, our inclusive work of supporting writers with creative and artistic exploration and growth is more crucial than ever. In our programs, we welcome and amplify the voices of diverse writers at all stages of their career.
Recently, our farmhouse at Firefly Farms has needed extensive repairs. To date, our start-up and yearly costs to renovate the farmhouse have been largely provided by Executive Director, Erin Elizabeth Smith, and Chief of Operations, Joe Minarick. However, the recent roof replacement and gutter repairs have become cost-prohibitive for Sundress leadership to provide out-of-pocket. We are hoping for your help to maintain our much-beloved residency space!
